Workplace safety

Risk assessment

Assessing the risks workers are exposed to is essential for preventing accidents and protecting staff health.

DVR

Risk Assessment Document (DVR)

The DVR (Risk Assessment Document) identifies the possible risks in a workplace and is used to analyse, assess and seek to prevent dangerous situations for workers. It sets out the risks and the prevention measures for health and safety at work.

The DVR is a snapshot of the company.

The employer is responsible for the DVR: this task cannot be delegated, but the employer can choose to rely on a workplace safety specialist for targeted advice.

Alongside the employer, other professionals are involved in drawing up the DVR, depending on the cases provided for by law: the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP), the Occupational Physician (MC), if appointed, and the Workers' Safety Representative (RLS).

possible risks

We consider every possible risk

We carry out risk analysis and help identify the prevention and protection measures to implement on construction sites and in workplaces, in order to eliminate, or at least reduce, the risks identified (Art. 28 of Legislative Decree 81/08).

In particular, the following specific assessments are carried out when drawing up the Risk Assessment Document:

  • Fire risk;
  • Work-related stress;
  • Manual handling of loads;
  • Repetitive upper-limb movements;
  • Manual handling of patients (MAPO);
  • Physical agents risk;
  • Chemical risk;
  • Carcinogenic risk;
  • Biological agents;
  • Explosion risk (ATEX);
  • Risks for young workers;
  • Night work;
  • Protection of working mothers, pregnant workers and new mothers;
  • Display screen equipment (DSE) risk.
RSPP

External RSPP appointment

Under the Consolidated Law on Health and Safety at Work (D.Lgs. 81/08), the role of Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) can be taken on directly by the employer or, alternatively, assigned (by direct appointment of the employer) to external professionals with skills and qualifications appropriate to the nature of the risks in the company.

Working with technicians of proven professional experience in their respective fields, Sicurmas Srl can provide an external Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) for all major business sectors.
