Physical agents risk assessment

The employer assesses all risks, including those arising from exposure to physical agents, in order to identify and adopt appropriate prevention and protection measures, with particular reference to technical standards and good practice.

Physical agents include noise, mechanical vibration, electromagnetic fields, artificial optical radiation, microclimate and hyperbaric atmospheres that may pose risks to workers’ health and safety.

The law requires assessments to be renewed every four years. Sicurmas manages the schedule of deadlines for you, so your company is notified when the next one is due.

Through an on-site technical visit to your company and subsequent processing of the data collected, we will help you monitor critical thresholds in your workplace and the potential risks your staff may face. Risk measurement is carried out using our own state-of-the-art equipment by specialised, certified staff.

With the risk assessment you will receive:

  • A specialist visit by a technician;
  • A survey of the risk to be assessed;
  • Analysis of the risk arising from exceeding the hazard levels;
  • Drafting of the risk analysis document, setting out the measures to be adopted;
  • The appropriate PPE to be used.
