Find out moreSafety on construction sites is vital: it saves lives, prevents accidents and ensures a healthy working environment.

Sicurmas Srl advises companies, employers and construction workers on complying with workplace safety legislation and on everything needed to prevent risks and protect workers’ safety and health.
The Consolidated Act on workplace safety – Legislative Decree 81/08 – sets specific obligations for construction companies under “Title IV – Temporary and mobile construction sites”, which, in addition to the rules for workplaces in general, lays down specific requirements for work on construction sites.
Construction site work involves numerous risks; it therefore requires a well-defined, clear structure and organisation and a certain number of suitably trained professionals.
From the risk assessment to the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC), by way of the scaffolding plan (PiMUS) and the Operational Safety Plan (POS), the paperwork required for construction sites is particularly detailed and complex, yet it is essential for preventing risks and protecting workers.
Prevention and protection depend on how closely the contractor attends to the various issues on site, on its ability to assess risks and draw up suitable safety plans, and on specific training for workers on site risks and the equipment they use. D.Lgs. 81/08 should be seen not as mere red tape, but as the benchmark for keeping your company and your workers safe.
